How to shop and troubleshooting

How to shop

1. Go to www.the-secret-dvd.net
2. Click on the “BUY NOW” button of the product you would like to purchase.
3. Select the country that you live in. (This has to be done to be able to add to cart)
4. Select the quantity.
5. Click on the “ADD TO CART” button
6. If you would like to buy other products you then click “CONTINUE SHOPPING” and add more products to your cart.
7. If you have finished shopping you then click on “CHECK OUT”
8. If you are an existing customer enter your email address and password.
9. If you are a New customer select click “REGISTER NOW”, enter your details and click “CONTINUE”
10. Fill in your name and address details.
11. Click “PAY”
12. This will take you to our secure e-gateway (click on the master card or visa symbol and this will take you to the secure, ‘padlocked’ page, where you can enter your credit card details safely.
13. Press “Submit”
14. Important: Please only press the “Submit” button once as you may be charged twice if you click again.
15. All done! You should receive an order confirmation email very shortly.

It says my email address is already in use

If it states that your email address is already in use, it generally means that you have tried to enter your name and email address first as an existing customer. If you are not already an existing customer you will of course not be able to login so you must first create a new account.
If you do get the “email address is already in use” notice, you will have to create a new account using another email address. If all else fails – contact us.

Can’t “add to cart”

Before you can “add to cart” you must select your country. This will ensure that we send the correct DVD format to you. We also have multi currency facilities and can accept both US$ and AUD$, so by selecting your country, the correct currency will also be selected.

Order inquiries

How to change order details – address, quantity etc.

If you would like to change your address, or order details, please contact us. Please be aware that we usually ship on the same day, or the next business day after the order has been received. If your order has already been shipped we won’t be able to change your details.

Ordering by phone

Because of very high demand we do not take phone orders at this point in time.

Haven’t received order confirmation.

The most common reason for not receiving an order confirmation is that you have entered your email address incorrectly, or your email program is blocking our emails. Make sure that you check your deleted items box, or junk mail folder first.
If you haven’t received an order confirmation within 6 hours of ordering please contact us.

With every order, we are offering a free e-book “The Science of getting Rich”. This will be attached as a PDF with your order confirmation email for you to save on your computer or print out and read. If you have any troubles opening this attachment, please contact us. Make sure to provide your order number for confirmation.

Postage and delivery times

When will my order be shipped?

We endeavour to process all orders within 48 hrs.

Please allow at least 14 days before contacting us about an order delivery time. Enquiries about orders placed under 14 days (2 weeks) ago will not be responded to

These are guidelines only as delivery periods may be extended during peak periods.

All orders are shipped from our warehouse in Australia using Australia Post http://www.auspost.com.au/

USA Delivery times
We endeavour to process and ship orders within 24-48 hours.
Orders take usually between 10-14 working days to reach their destination.

Canada Delivery times
We endeavour to process and ship orders within 24-48 hours.
Orders take usually between 10-14 working days to reach their destination.
Note: We have experienced slow shipment to Canada at times and it could take up to 4 weeks to reach you.

Australia Delivery times
We endeavour to process and ship orders within 24 hours.
Orders take usually between 2-7 working days to reach their destination.

Europe Delivery times
We endeavour to process and ship Europe orders within 24-48 hours.
Orders take usually between 10-30 working days to reach their destination.

South Africa and the rest of the world Delivery times
We endeavour to process and ship orders within 24-48 hours.
Orders take usually between 10-30 working days to reach their destination.
Note: We have experienced slow shipment to South Africa at times and it could take up to 5 weeks to reach you.

Delivery tracking

We do not have a tracking system at present.

Refunds & Replacements


Before you apply for a refund please check the following:

  • That you have the correct DVD for your country. On the back panel of the box on bottom left corner look for NTSC for North America. For Australia, NZ, SA and UK and most European countries look for PAL
  • Try your DVD in another player
Within 30 days of purchase, if your DVD does not play, then please contact us by email and request a replacement DVD. No returns will be provided after that time.
Our Service Department will email you a Return Product Authorization Form so that you can ship the DVD back to us, and a replacement DVD will be mailed to you.

DVD, Book, Audio-book specifics

Other languages

At present the Secret DVD is only available in English and is subtitled for the hearing impaired. Currently work is taking place on translation to 9 major languages. We will be sending notification in our newsletter when this has been done.

Difference between Audio book and Book.

The Secret Book is written by Rhonda Burns and is based on her movie The Secret. The Secret book goes into much more detail on how to use The Secret in every aspect of your life. It is 216 pages long. The Audio Book is 4 X CDs which run for a total of 4 hours and is Rhonda Burns narrating her book The Secret. It also includes all of the Teachers that you have seen on the DVD, and is great for those long car trips, driving to work or even to sit down quietly and listen to.

Difference between original and new version

You may have seen the Original Version of The Secret DVD. The extended version is 3 minutes longer than the original version and contains audio commentary by the Executive Producer and Producer where they discuss The Secret in greater detail than before. This new version also excludes Esther Hicks who has personally asked to be omitted from The Secret movie for contractual reasons. The Original Version is no longer available.
