About the secret dream book for kids
Presented in two parts, this creative book teaches children how to be positive, and the lessons of thankfulness.
Part 1: “I encourage myself to be me”
Part 2: “Thanks for my rainbow”
I particularly like this book for several reasons.
First, I found that if you sit with them initially (especially the younger ones); they soon race ahead and think of new ideas and dreams for themselves. Just the act of working with them a bit is enough to be conveying in a powerful way that dreaming great dreams and thinking positive thoughts is really important.
Because children do this for themselves, they are learning (unknowingly) how to create a positive attitude from within. Repeating the processes teaches your kids that they are responsible for their own happiness. This is really what self esteem and confidence are all about.
Spending a bit of time with them while they work on their books is really a gift for you both. You can discuss their dreams with them. You have a wonderful opportunity to encourage and endorse their ideas and hopes and dreams, and to let them know that you think they are clever and that they can “Be, Do and Have, anything they want”.
The great thing is that you can print out as many copies as you need for each member of the family, and extra worksheets when they think of more new ideas. It is such fun to do.
The beautiful imagery of their own ‘star’ to take out and ‘polish’ each night; and a colourful rainbow to express thankfulness and gratitude have an immediate appeal for children. Gratitude and appreciation we know is a huge part of the Law of Attraction. This is a lovely way to teach them.
Teach your children to DREAM BIG DREAMS. You may be surprised when they come true.
